According to the Bible, Jesus is Not God

  • Jesus called the Father “the ONLY true God” [John 17:3]
  • Jesus said, “My God and your God” [John 20:17]
  • Jesus said, “The Father is greater than I” [John 14:28]
  • Jesus said, “I can do nothing by myself” [John 5:30]
  • Jesus didn’t know the Day of Judgment — only the Father does [Mark 13:32]
  • Jesus worshipped and prayed to God [Matthew 26:39, Luke 6:12]
  • Jesus said “Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone” [Mark 10:18]
  • Jesus said ALL authority was GIVEN to him [Matthew 28:18]
  • Jesus was called a man, servant & prophet of God [Acts 3:13, Acts 2:22, 1 Timothy 2:5]
  • Jesus died — but God is immortal.

Even after his resurrection, Jesus still said “My God”.

The claim that John 5:30 proves Jesus was a Muslim is a perspective from Islamic and certain online communities, based on the meaning of “Islam” as “submission to God’s will”. This interpretation focuses on Jesus’s words, “I can of my own self do nothing… I seek not to please myself but him who sent me,” arguing it shows his submission to the will of the Father. Christian theology, however, interprets the verse differently, viewing it as a statement of Jesus’s unity and relationship with God the Father, without denying his divinity.

Is Jesus a Christian or a Muslim?

Christians say Jesus is not a Muslim but failed to produce evidence. Here are evidences that show us that Jesus was a Muslim:
1) Islam teaches Shahadah and Jesus teaches the same [John 17:3]
2) Islam teaches that prayer is due to God alone and Jesus prayed to God alone [Matthew 26:39], [Matthew 4:10] and [Luke 4:8]
3) Islam teaches the oneness of God and Jesus testifies to this [Mark 12:28-29]

Question:
Q: Is there a Christian to present evidences that show Jesus was a Christian?
A: Christianity was named by pagans in [Acts 11:26], [Acts 26:28] and [1 Peter 4:16] not by Jesus.

1) The only religion approved by God is Islam (Submission) [Quran 3:19]
2) O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims (in submission to Him) [Quran 3:102]
