If Jesus is God, why would He pray to God? And how can God not know something?
- Matthew 26:39 — Jesus prays in Gethsemane:
O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will. - Luke 6:12 — Jesus spends the entire night in prayer:
He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. - Mark 13:32 — Jesus says He doesn’t know the day or hour:
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. - Matthew 24:36 — Jesus denies knowledge of the Hour:
But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

Conclusion: Jesus Is Not God
God does not pray to anyone — because He is the highest authority. Also, God does not lack knowledge — ever. Therefore, if Jesus prays and doesn’t know, he cannot be God in the absolute sense, but rather a prophet, messenger, or servant of God.
