Thomas Carlyle

“Some fanatics pretended that Muhammad just wanted to be famous and have sovereignty. No, by God! The heart of this great man, son of desert, with his great soul was full of mercy, goodness, sympathy and wisdom which is far away from worldly greed and from seeking Sovereignty and greatness. Why not, with that pure Soul of a man who can>t be but faithful and serious. I swear by God, I love Muhammad for his pure nature which was away from pretension. Muhammad is a star that “ghted this world and that is the favor of God Who gives it to whom He wills.”
